Hey everyone, how ya all doing these days?

Sorry for not being active as of late. Back to full-time hours for the time being, so things will be slow-going for awhile. I'm out of my rut, and I should hopefully have a few new works up in the coming weeks. Finding the time to lineart and color is always a hassle with work in the way.

It doesn't help either when you just got a Wii, and have Brawl. Oh I'll be wasting my only free hours there you bet

No. I've been busy with too many life things at the moment, which includes getting ready for college and working at the job. That is why there has been a decrease in my art submissions.

I've been trying to do art. I'm in one of those silly art ruts I get ever now and then. Want to draw something, but can't find the focus to complete it and the finish product is garbage.

I'm also feeling a little down in the dumps this week. I blame Spring fever.

I've been finally accepted into Mohawk college's comic book design and scripting program. I can't believe my luck after all the declines in the past few months from the others. I guess they believe I have the potential and the determination to go far.

I feel proud ^___^

So today I had to write a mandatory pre-admissions English test for one of the colleges. It was no problem for me, but surprise, surprise no one told me I had to do a drawing test. Two drawings within a thirty minute limit. I said "No sweat should be easy". The first direction was a piece of pie and I finished in five minutes. Thinking the next would be easy too I turn the page...

Ended up using the last of the time limit sketching that one. My time limit went up so I didn't quite finish rendering all the buildings on the street scape so it looked really, really bad amongst the crooked lines (not allowed to use ruler).

All is left to do is sit, and wait for an answer.

It seems portfolios are the only things I've been doing in the past weeks. No time to work on fanart and whatnot till these get done and sent out on thier way.

I'm having fun with these portfolios really. I've discovered what I have improved on and the areas which need to be addressed (perspective and profiles ungh).
